Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Tenvo (“Tenvo”, “we”, “us”) is a personal money-tracking app available at gettenvo.com. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at hello@gettenvo.com.
2. What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password (stored securely as a hash, which we cannot read), and your phone number and preferred currency if you provide them.
- Your money data: the entries you add, such as transactions, wallets, budgets, savings goals, recurring bills, and records of money you lend or borrow, including the names you give to people.
- Subscription details: your plan, trial dates and subscription status. Payments are handled by our payment provider; we do not store your full card details.
- Basic technical data: information your browser sends automatically (such as device type and IP address) when you use the website and app, used for security and to keep the service running.
3. What we don’t collect
We never ask for or store bank logins. We don’t use advertising trackers, and we don’t sell, rent or share your personal data with advertisers.
4. How we use your information
- To create your account and keep you signed in.
- To store and sync your data across your devices.
- To manage your free trial and subscription.
- To send account emails, such as email confirmation and password resets.
- To keep Tenvo secure, fix problems and improve the app.
5. Where your data is stored
Your data is stored in a secure cloud database run by our hosting provider, Supabase. Access is protected by your account, and database rules ensure that only you can read or change your own data. A copy is also kept on your device so Tenvo works offline. Our website is hosted by Vercel. These providers process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide their services.
6. Sharing
We share data only with the service providers above (and our payment provider once you subscribe), or when required by law. When you send a WhatsApp reminder from Tenvo, the message is opened in WhatsApp on your device; Tenvo does not send it on your behalf.
7. How long we keep data
We keep your data for as long as you have an account. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep certain records by law (for example, payment records).
8. Your rights
You can view and edit your data in the app at any time, and export it as a CSV file from Settings. You can ask us to correct or delete your data, or delete your account, by emailing hello@gettenvo.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law.
9. Security
Connections to Tenvo are encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
10. Children
Tenvo is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we’ll let you know in the app or by email. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
